The annual Latin festival to commemorate the day the continent of America was stumbled upon by Europeans (albeit the celebration takes place in November) was on again this year.
I wasn’t expecting a lot to be honest. Maybe that’s why I was pleasantly surprised?
Being such a multicultural country is amazing and quite beneficial. One of the most exciting and probably important things this offers us as a society is…food, glorious food. Especially hispanic food.
However, what took the cake for me this year was the rain. Good old fashioned Melburnian rain. It rained so much but looked soooooo beautiful with the lights, I couldn’t help but close the umbrella and dance with crowd to the sound of some latin beats.
